The Murder Mystery Story
Rancher’s Revenge: A Murder Mystery Show takes you back in time to 1886 at Williford Ranch, a peaceful family-owned homestead. The ranch is led by the hospitable Ms. Annie Williford, and assisting her are dependable ranch hands who oversee the daily operations. Amidst the peaceful appearance, tensions run high, especially when Sheriff Callahan comes around. This formidable figure seeks to acquire the ranch and industrialize the land in a ruthless pursuit of wealth. His presence disrupts the harmony of the ranch, earning him little favor. The Sheriff meets an untimely end, and though he has few mourners, the event casts a grim shadow over the ranch. Suspicions and accusations start flying, and the ranch is thrust into a web of deceit and madness. The group now faces a daunting challenge: unraveling the mystery of Sheriff Callahan’s demise.
How It Works
This murder mystery show is an interactive experience where guests participate in the story. The audience interacts with characters as they provide alibis, clues, and puzzles to help solve the mystery. Use your investigative skills and deductive reasoning to piece together the information you gather to unravel the mystery. Teamwork is key as participants work together to identify the right culprit before time runs out. Most of the puzzles are meant to be difficult, but children ages 10 and up should be able to participate with an adult’s help. This murder mystery show is designed to be family friendly and suitable for guests of all ages to attend.
Murder Mystery Dinner Show Dates and Times
Rancher’s Revenge: A Murder Mystery Show is available at SkyLand Ranch for a limited time this spring and summer. You can attend this one-of-a-kind dinner show on select nights starting April 18 through August 29. Doors open at 5:15 pm, and the show starts promptly at 6:00 pm. Reservations are required, and the show is not included with general admission to our Sevierville attraction.
